Read more...Hate crimes are by their very nature personal and as a result can be frightening. We have filmed a muslim lady from Warwickshire who wears a niqab, and asked her about her experiences of abuse and prejudice. She has kindly shared her account of the impact that abuse and hate crimes have on her daily life. She also urges everyone to report incidents whether they happen directly to you or someone else, so that we can gain a better understanding of what is happening in our communities, prosecute perpetrators and ultimately prevent it happening to other people.
